Legend has it that an orphan boy with the mark of a fox and a vixen shall unite to rule Ireland.  When orphan boy Leigh finds the sole surviving kit and takes her home to keep as his secret pet, he has no idea the destiny he has put in motion.

Leigh knew he shared an uncommon bond with his pet fox, but had no idea the kit was really “Kit.” Though separated in their youth, Leigh and “Kit” remember their youth together when they are finally reunited later in their lives by Merlin during the planning of King Arthur’s rescue of his Guinevere.

The Vixen is based loosely on King Arthur’s court.  The ancient Druids have decreed Leigh and Kit are to rule Ireland.  Through much background, trials and tribulations, the love story unfolds. The Vixen skips from one character’s story to the other and back which takes away from the flow and is a bit slow to get into the meat of the story.  If you like period romances with sorcerers, Knights of the Round Table, King Arthur, Guinevere and Sir Lancelot all in the mix and a typical happy ending, you should read this one.
