Quinn Hunter and her best friend Holly Gates, both 18, are thrilled when they arrive in Hawaii.
They are on their way to Barrington House, the hotel where they'll be working during the summer holidays.

Although Quinn and Holly think it's a very exciting idea to work at the hotel, it seems a bit confusing and weird that, while on their way to the house, people tried to convince them to look for a job elsewhere.

Once they arrive at Barrington House, Quinn has the feeling she's living with "the Adams family" but Holly doesn't seem to notice the morbid sphere that is present. The two girls are soon to discover what the locals already know...
Barrington House is a haunted house!

With Pretty Pretty, K.C. Oliver takes us straight into a nightmare. Barrington House is a place where your worst fears threaten to come alive. While reading this book I found myself on the tip of my chair.  I had this strange and terrifying feeling that there were really ghosts behind or beside me. When I went to sleep after reading Pretty Pretty, I could hardly stop myself from looking under my bed to make sure that there were no ghosts or monsters. That's the frightening effect that Pretty Pretty has on you! It's written so good that you start to believe in being haunted yourself.
If you like to read a splendid ghost story, I recommend, without any doubt, K.C. Oliver’s Pretty Pretty to you!
