Suzanne is on a quest. She'd never had satisfying sex before and according to the national polls most of America's adults would like to know more about sex in general. Since she's a freelance writer, she's willing to do a little experimenting of her own, all for the sake of journalism of course. When the owner of "Me" magazine agrees to purchase a series of articles she’s thrilled. Then he drops the bomb informing her that in order to protect her he has to send his son along as her watchdog. Having no choice but to agree to this change in plans, Suzanne meets Mike at a local diner and gets ready to begin her research.
Mike is less than thrilled with having to play babysitter, but the woman he's supposed to be protecting intrigues him. She doesn't carry herself off as somebody that knows how attractive she is would. After teasing her a little they leave the diner and go to the park across the street where they proceed to spar verbally. Mike figures out that this quest of Suzanne is personal. He's determined to provide all the expertise she needs on the subject of great sex. Now all he needs to do is persuade Suzanne.
Persuading Suzanne is a sweet love story with some bondage and discipline thrown in. Reading about Suzanne’s attempts at finding out what she'd been missing in her sex life is very endearing and made her extremely easy to relate to. Mike... well, Mike is HOT. He's sexy, dominant, rich, and he has a good understanding of women! Amy O'Connor has done a wonderful job with this book by combining a perfect BDSM relationship with falling in love.
