Gina Longmire is not having a good day.  She’s late for an appointment and her car is now wrapped around a tree.  Lucky for her, a kindly old lady came upon her in the forest offering a ride home before Gina’s overly vivid imagination could scare her silly!  Now, she’s dripping wet with her clothes not only plastered to her body, but practically transparent and hunk of the month Nate Moore is waiting impatiently to inspect her rented house.  These “accidents” are getting annoying and now she’s practically flashing the town’s leading Casanova.  This is so not how her life should be going.  Her life is quiet, boring, uneventful…

Once Nate gets over his pique at being kept waiting and knows what caused it, his other senses take over and he’s immediately attracted to Gina.  He’s not in it for the long term, but at least for a night or two!  If she knew what he was, he wouldn’t even get that.  Nate turns on the charm determined to get Gina to agree to a date once their business is complete.  He gets more than he bargains for when she agrees.  He’s falling fast and hard, but first he has to keep her safe and then he has to convince her that he’s in it for the long term AND hope she does not run screaming when she finds out he gets furry.

Moon Illusion is a wonderfully action packed and sexy story.  Gina is such an everyday sort of girl we can all identify with who falls for the local stud.  He just happens to be much more than a stud with a few family members who are studly in the same fashion.  This is one HOT HOT HOT read and also highly entertaining!  I truly enjoyed this newest offering from Amy O’Connor and I very much look forward to “more” of the Moore Werewolves.
