Nell Winters is an actress on her way to becoming one of great notoriety. But when her eyes fall heavy into the dream world, she’s visited by one of the sexiest men she’s ever seen. Who is this man? As Nell tries to rid herself of the dream lover, his name is revealed, Akhenaten. Akhenaten happens to be the ancient Egyptian queen Nefertiti’s husband. Wanting to learn more about Akhenaten, Nell boards a flight to Egypt. Her agent is mad and wants her back on the Cleopatra II movie set. But Nell is driven to find out more about her dream man. While in Egypt, she locates the archaeological dig site for Akhenaten.

While underground at the dig, Nell finds a room. On the wall of the room there is a symbol which catches her eye. When she reaches out to touch the symbol, an arm grabs her, pulling her through time. Nell is a bit disoriented when she comes too. The thing is she’s in the same room but in a very different time. And on top of all of that she’s in Nefertiti’s body!

Lacey Savage has put her own personal special spin on history. Ms. Savage shows a wealth of knowledge on the subject. I found it very interesting that she was able to take the story and develop it to her own liking. I, Nefertiti is a very sexy story about time travel. Readers will find that it is appealing to many different generations of people. Every woman wants to be adored and worshipped by a king who loves her completely. I definitely recommend this book. I, Nefertiti is an intriguing story full of action, danger and love.
