General conclusion

Batteries not required starts this sizzling anthology and it immediately does the name sizzling honor! This story proves that the words mind-blowing sex written on the back of the cover are no lie at all! This is a very hot story, the characters get very passionate, but hey Tristan is not her boring vibrator Bob anymore, he doesn't need any batteries at all. And how would you be if you would meet your hot ex after so many years?

Sara Smiles was my favorite story because it was so very romantic. Jax is the man of your dreams, believe me! He loves Sara so much, he doesn’t want her to marry him for anything else but her love for him. If you can make your reader fall in love with your character than you accomplished one of your main goals! The other goal is the story, and the story was there all right! It felt so real, Jax’s silence really makes you worry. First Alison Kent makes you fall in love with Jax and then she makes you feel as if you’re losing him, how bad of her! But it worked!

Seducing Tabby is another book with a real gentleman who's having a hard time convincing Tabby he wants her not her sister. I found this to be a very fun read, contained some humorous scenes in it which were perfect for this light story.

Captivated is the most exciting one as you can already tell by the first lines, being handcuffed by bad boys. Plus being an investigator and having a husband who's a cop. Especially at the end she puts some thrilling scenes in the story which made this story a very sensational read.

Now there are so many books on weddings, but Sister Switch is definitely original! Having your twin sister replace you as the bride. Although the women think they master the situation perfectly, don't underestimate men!  I don't know how Susanna Carr did it but she managed to put a very good plot in such a small story. It was a very funny and entertaining read. Just too bad it ended so quickly but...this story is not finished! Susanna Carr has written the other sister's point of view of the same story. It's called The Wrong Bride and it was published earlier.

Spencer for... ever was another sweet romantic story which I really and totally enjoyed. Another story that makes you fall in love with the soft male hero. He loves her so much but rather than take the risk to get hurt he prefers to not take the risk, awww. Been hurt like that once is more than enough. They are so sensitive, yet try to act so strong. Don't we just love those men?

The way the characters' hearts ache for each other, even after meeting again after so many years later, is one of the things that bind these stories together. I found all six stories to be highly original in its kind, and very enjoyable in reading. The book title hasn't stolen it's name either. I'd say, take this book along with you to the beach, and read one story every time you're there. The cool sea breeze will cool you down, or maybe you'll even need to take a plunge in the cold water because I don't think the breeze can cool you down enough!
