As part of a large close-knit family, in which most of the males just happen to be werewolves, Adrian enjoys his life as a neurosurgeon and as a pack member. All that is missing is a mate. Adrian met Kat when his cousin Alex introduced him to Jessica, his new mate, and Katherine, her best friend. Two weeks later they had become almost inseparable. Kat’s strong conviction to remain a virgin until marriage is something Adrian views as admirable and he wants to honor her wishes. But before Adrian is aware of what happened, a petting session leads to Adrian and Kat consummating the act. The loss of control terrifies Adrian and he decides the only way he will be able to restore the sense of control he so desperately craves in his life, is to remove Kat from the picture.

Kat has within the past few weeks found the love of her life and given him the gift of both her heart and her virginity, only to have him walk out of her life without a moment’s hesitation. Now weeks later she finds she is pregnant with Adrian’s child. What should be a simple and joyous visit to the Ob leaves Kat fleeing in terror. While dressing to leave Kat overhears what sounds like a conversation straight out of the Twilight Zone. Her Dr. is discussing her pregnancy and her baby saying they must find out who the father is, and using words like monster and abort. She has no idea her flight of fear will lead her straight back to Adrian. And this time Adrian is not trying to push her away…in fact he seems determined to keep her!

My thanks to Ms. Lynn! Not to long ago I read and reviewed the first book in this series Latin Moon, which I adored, and begged her to not make me suffer, but to ‘hurry up and deliver’ the next tale in this hot new series. Lucky for me the wait was short! Once again Ms. Lynn delivers. Kat and Adrian’s tale is filled with danger and intrigue, passion and pleasure. Readers will be delighted to know that there is more yet to come in this series. After all this family is full of hot Latin lovers who, as werewolves, mate for life. What more could a girl ask for?!!

A Lover’s Moon is the second book of Jeigh Lynn’s Moon series, but is a stand-alone title and may be read independently of the series. For maximum enjoyment however, I would definitely recommend Latin Moon where these characters were originally introduced. After all you can never get too much of a good thing!
