A Change of Season

Moira has been enjoying her quiet life in the forest of Nordan Territory in New Ecasia. For a while, she has been experiencing psychic attacks that have overtime gotten worse causing her physical pain. While those attacks are happening Moira has visions of a man named Dain d’Ange and another man named Cyric (once friend now foe to Dain). When the psychic attacks become unbearable, Moira decides to seek out these mysterious men who she knows nothing about. Moira, feeling a psychic pull, first travels to Aeoli seeking Dain. She hopes to find answers that will help her rid herself of the psychic attacks.

Dain is instantly attracted to Moira but he thinks she’s mentally ill. Why would she seek out a man who was rumored to have killed his wife with twisted dark magic? Dain doesn’t want anything to do with her and he tells her to leave his land but Moira doesn’t listen. Instead, she sets up camp on Dain’s land content to stay there until he hears what she has to say. But as the harsh winter approaches, Dain relents and accepts Moira into his home. When the snow begins to fall and continues on for days, Dain realizes Moira won’t be able to leave Aeoli until the season changes. As the days pass, Dain tries to keep his distance from Moira but he finds the feat impossible. Moira  intrigues him to no end, leading Dain to want to get to know her on all levels and to help her.

Anya Bast strikes again! A Changes of Season is a great erotic story that will heat up the coldest of winter nights. Dain d’Ange is a man so consumed by self-hatred that he is content on living the rest of his life in solitude. He has driven away everyone who has cared for his well-being, only allowing few to be around him. Anya Bast does a great job conveying Dain’s inner turmoil and the struggle that he goes through remembering his past. With Moira, Dain doesn’t want the same thing to happen to her that happened to his wife. Love is a strong emotion that has healing properties when the heart is involved. I recommend that readers pick up A Change of Season, the story is truly wonderful.
