Captain Tyla Natori is on a mission: to capture and bring back males from other planets to take back to her own planet, Triton, to be ‘put on the market’. Triton is a female dominated planet where there are few males, but it is under threat from the Duriens. The females need males to remain independent, so they are now ‘transplanting’ males from other planets. Tyla has never had a transplant of her own before, but now needs to take a husband. On Earth, she finds the man for her. She can tell he is the one when her body begins to glow, which happens when a Triton woman is excited or aroused.

Max Cooper wakes up naked, in an unfamiliar, peculiar place that reminds him of a Star Trek spaceship. That’s not what first grabs his attention, however. He can hear male voices - something he hasn’t been able to hear for a year, since he blew out his eardrums whilst diving. Max is an ex-coast guard, who is - or rather, was - profoundly deaf. But now he can hear again. What’s going on? Why is he...well, wherever he is? What happened during the time he can’t remember?

The story of Abduction is very original. The idea that there are other planets in the universe with life on them, and other solar systems as well as ours, is not a theme I have come across in romance tales before. That there is a female dominated planet intrigues me, though I am not surprised that even in fiction, the females find themselves under threat from male dominance. This is a great erotic science fiction romance, containing several inventive aspects that have evolved straight out of Ms White’s very active imagination. Various sexual themes are mentioned in this tale, including double penetration and anal sex, but are not discussed or described in great depth. Therefore, even if these areas are not your cup of tea, I still recommend you give this story a go. I enjoyed it; I would think you would, too.
